Lines and wrinkles: a doctor's assessment
Book a free assessment with a GMC-registered doctor. He will look at your face, tell you what is causing the lines you are bothered by, and set out the options.

What the assessment is
Lines come from more than one thing. Muscle movement folds them in. Sun and time thin the skin that has to do the folding. Volume loss changes the way light sits across the face. Which of those is driving the line you do not like is the question this appointment answers.
A doctor looks at your face at rest and moving, front on and from the side, in proper light. He will tell you what is causing what, what can be changed and what is not worth doing anything about.
You then get the options in plain English, with what each one costs, how long it lasts and what the risks are. Nothing is decided in the chair unless you want it to be.
It takes about fifteen minutes and it costs nothing. No deposit, and we do not hold your card.
Is this you?
- You have lines that show in photos and no idea which of them are treatable
- You have been quoted somewhere and want a second opinion before you spend
- You are not sure whether this is a treatment question or a sleep and sunscreen question
- You would rather ask a doctor than a website
How it goes
-
Book, one minute
Pick a time. Nothing to pay, no card, no deposit.
-
Come in, fifteen minutes
A doctor assesses your face and talks you through what is causing what, and what the realistic options are.
-
Decide in your own time
You can go ahead the same day if you want to and you are suitable, or go away and think about it. Nobody chases you.
Results
Same light, same angle, same distance, no retouching.
Nothing here yet. New results go up as patients consent to them.
A photograph goes up here only once the man in it has signed a consent form for that exact use. We would rather show you nothing than show you somebody else's stock photo, or a pair shot under two different lights.
Am I going to be sold to?
The assessment is free and it stays free whether you book anything afterwards or not. Plenty of men come in, get an answer and leave, and that is a completely normal outcome here.
If a doctor thinks the honest answer is that you do not need anything, that is what you will be told. It happens most weeks.
Free
15 min
Free. Fifteen minutes with a GMC-registered doctor, an honest read on what is causing the lines, and the options set out for you to think about.
No obligation and no deposit. If you decide to go ahead with something, you pay for that treatment at the price published on the menu.
Who does it TBC
Every treatment at SkinBros is carried out by a doctor registered with the General Medical Council.
We do not build individual profiles for the doctors who treat you, because we would rather you trusted the clinic and the standard than a name on a website. Your doctor will introduce himself, and he will give you his GMC number if you ask. You can look any doctor up on the register yourself.
Every appointment starts with an assessment, and part of a doctor's job is to tell you when the answer is to do nothing.
Questions
Is the consultation really free?
Yes. No fee, no deposit, no card details, and no 'redeemable against treatment' games. If you come in, talk to a doctor for twenty minutes and decide it is not for you, you owe us nothing.
Am I committing to anything?
No. Plenty of men come in, talk it through, and go away to think about it. Nobody will chase you.
What happens at the assessment?
A GMC-registered doctor looks at your face at rest and moving, from the front and from the side, asks what is bothering you, and tells you what he thinks is actually going on. Sometimes the answer is one treatment, sometimes it is nothing at all.
